BrokerCentral Integrates with Applied Rating Hub to Expand Personal Lines Market Access

BrokerCentral has integrated with Applied Systems’ Applied Rating Hub, enabling brokers using the platform to access a wider panel of personal lines insurers and MGA schemes through a single connection.

The integration allows brokers to quote, bind, renew and manage mid-term adjustments through full-cycle EDI trading directly within the BrokerCentral platform. By leveraging BrokerCentral’s open API architecture, risk data can be exchanged with Applied Rating Hub in real time, removing the need for brokers to manage multiple individual insurer integrations.

BrokerCentral provides a broker-focused policy administration system that combines CRM, broker management and policy administration capabilities in a single platform designed to streamline broker workflows. The integration with Applied Rating Hub expands the range of personal lines products available to brokers while maintaining a centralised workflow for policy management.

Applied Rating Hub provides a single connection to a dynamic marketplace of more than 30 personal lines insurers and MGAs offering over 100 insurance products across the UK market.

Through the integration, brokers using BrokerCentral can access these schemes directly within their existing workflow, enabling seamless quoting and policy administration without leaving the platform.

The initial rollout will focus on motor insurance, with plans to expand into specialist personal lines markets including taxi and motorhome insurance, before moving into household insurance.
